Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 at The Arcadian by M
The Arcadian by M is delighted to welcome the return of the Mid-Autumn Festival on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2026, bringing two days of cultural celebrations, family entertainment and community spirit to Birmingham Chinatown.
Taking place from 11am to 4pm each day, this free family-friendly event will transform The Arcadian with vibrant lantern displays, traditional performances and exciting activities for visitors of all ages.
A highlight of the festival will be the spectacular 4-metre illuminated moon suspended above The Arcadian fountain, creating a stunning focal point for the celebrations. Visitors can also enjoy traditional lion dances, a variety of Chinese cultural and community performances, free face painting, and a range of children’s arts, crafts and activities throughout the weekend.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important celebrations in the Chinese calendar, providing an opportunity for families, friends and communities to come together and celebrate culture, heritage and unity.
