Celebrate the World Cup 2026 at Arcadian by M
The Arcadian by M is delighted to be an official sponsor of International Day of Birmingham 2026, supporting one of the city’s most unique and inspiring celebrations of Birmingham’s culture, creativity and community spirit.
Returning for its third year on 24 and 25 September 2026, International Day of Birmingham brings together residents, visitors, artists, businesses and organisations to celebrate everything that makes Birmingham special. This year’s event promises to be the biggest yet, with the historic Council House transformed into “The House That Brum Built”, featuring an exciting programme of exhibitions, performances and interactive experiences.
Discover The Lady Mayoress’s Parlour
As part of our sponsorship, The Arcadian by M is proud to support The Lady Mayoress’s Parlour, a fascinating space within the Council House that will be home to the Museum of Bam, created by Birmingham artist collective Bam!Bam!.
This imaginative and thought-provoking exhibition is described as:
“A fictional museum devoted to Birmingham. Through photographs, films, found objects and fabricated artefacts, visitors are invited to decide where documented history ends and local folklore begins.”
The Museum of Bam promises to be one of the standout experiences of International Day of Birmingham 2026, celebrating the city’s stories, myths, legends and unmistakable character through a playful and engaging lens.
Meet Birmingham’s Famous Mr Egg
Visitors to The Lady Mayoress’s Parlour will also have the chance to snap a selfie with one of Birmingham’s most iconic figures, Mr Egg.
A much-loved symbol of Birmingham culture, Mr Egg will be joining the celebrations, making this the perfect photo opportunity for visitors looking to capture a memorable moment from the event.
Celebrating Birmingham Together
At The Arcadian by M, we’re passionate about supporting events that showcase Birmingham’s rich heritage, creativity and diverse communities. International Day of Birmingham is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the people, places and stories that make our city truly unique, while strengthening connections with fellow Birmingham’s across the globe.
We are proud to play a part in bringing this extraordinary event to life and look forward to welcoming visitors to The Lady Mayoress’s Parlour during the celebrations.
