Every Wednesday and Friday, every platter that comes with King prawns comes with twice as many. The price doesn’t move.
City Selection goes from 5 prawns to 10. Don’t Be Shellfish, 10 to 20. No Being Crabby, 15 to 30. The Feast, 25 to 50. You don’t ask for it and you don’t need a voucher. Book a Wednesday or a Friday and the prawns double on the table.
Same sauces, same sides, same cook. Pick OG Louisiana, Garlic Butter, Chef’s Signature Cajun or Hot & Spicy, then eat it with your hands. Bibs on, no forks.
Seafood City opened in the Arcadian in June 2024 with Birmingham’s first Louisiana-style seafood boil, two minutes from the Hippodrome and a short walk across the Chinese Quarter. Platters start at £19.95, rated 4.7 from over 900 Google reviews. The kitchen is halal-friendly: no pork, no alcohol in the cooking, ingredients halal-sourced where available. Alcohol is served at the bar separately if you want it.
