On the 26-27 May Bank Holiday Weekend thousands of visitors will fill Birmingham’s Gay Village.
The annual pride festival is now in its 22nd year and promises a weekend of music and live entertainment beginning with a colourful procession to the the Main Pride Festival Site – which houses the Nightingale Main Stage, dance arena, cabaret stage, funfair and street market.
Birmingham Pride is now the UK’s biggest two-day LGBT event. It’s also one of Birmingham’s biggest street parties, attracting around 75,000 people.
This year the Arcadian is participating in the parade with a large float, boasting an ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’ theme, celebrating the vast array of activities and entertainment available within the center.
